History

A small group of men met with Bishop Bambera on July 8th 2014 and presented the idea of a men’s conference for the men of the Diocese of Scranton. We had been inspired by Men’s Conferences that we had seen elsewhere and believed that we could organize one here. Several were skeptical and thought that we were being audatious calling for an “annual” conference before we had completed our first one.  Since then, with the Bishop’s approval, we have sponsored seven annual Conferences as follows:

In addition to the Annual Conference, we starting sponsoring Parish meetings around the Diocese in 2020. We have led twelve men’s parish meetings in in Swoyersville, Dupont, Williamsport, Scranton (3), Honesdale, Brodheadsville, Fairmont Springs, Sayre, Elmhurst and Laflin. We think that the need to rally Catholic men to the defense of the faith and family has never been more urgent.  We urge you to come to the next conference and “up your game” as a witness for Christ!
